The NJ Premier Volleyball Coaches Clinic is designed to assist Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced level coaches develop the necessary tools essential to cultivating and maintaining a successful volleyball program.

Coaches will have the opportunity to learn from
NJIT Mens Head Coach, Ryan McNeil;
Rutgers Newark Mens Head Coach, Pedro Trevino; & St. Joseph High School Head Coach, Miguel Cabrita.

Some of the areas to be covered:
  • Basic skills instruction
  • Keyword coaching
  • Practice efficiency
  • Correcting fundamental mechanics
  • Drill progression
  • Player vs. Team instruction
  • Player-centered drills vs. coach-centered drills
  • Overall game strategy
  • Selecting an effective Offensive and Defensive system

Additionally, coaches will have the opportunity to address specific needs unique to their own programs.
